The Georgia Bulldogs are 15-3 this season after a four-game series sweep against Queens University.
A key component of their success has been hitting a lot of home runs. As a team, Georgia leads all of college baseball in home runs with 61.
The Bulldogs hold a sizeable lead over every other college baseball team in home run hitting. The team with the second-most home runs is Vanderbilt. They have 42 as a team (as of March 10).
Daniel Jackson and Brennan Hudson led the Dawgs in home runs
Georgia’s two home run leaders this season are Daniel Jackson and Brennan Hudson.
Jackson has 14 home runs this season, which is the most out of any player in college baseball. He also has a .408 batting average, a 1.544 OPS, a .488 on-base percentage, and 33 RBIs.
Jackson has also been a threat on the base paths with 10 stolen bases this season.
Hudson is second on Georgia in home runs this season with 10. Much like Jackson, he is top five in the country in home runs this season.
Hudson has a .351 batting average, a .519 on-base percentage, and 22 RBIs.
Including Jackson and Hudson, Georgia has 12 players this season who have hit a home run. Out of those 12 players, the Bulldogs have five players who have hit five or more home runs this season.
