The Georgia Bulldogs won three games against the Samford Bulldogs over the weekend.
In the three games at Foley Field, Georgia beat Samford by run rule twice and outscored them 45-5.

Georgia hits 14 home runs against Samford
During the three wins over Samford, Georgia hit 14 home runs as a team.
The big-time home run hitters for the Bulldogs included Michael O’Shaughnessy and Kolby Branch, who each had three home runs over the weekend.
Georgia hit 11 of their 14 home runs over the weekend during the Saturday and Sunday games against Samford.
They hit six home runs on Sunday in a 22-0 win that resulted in a seven-inning run rule.
Through seven games this season, Georgia has hit 24 home runs as a team.
Dawgs with 39 total hits against Samford
Georgia hit a grand total of 39 hits against Samford over the weekend.
A standout hitter over the weekend for the Bulldogs was Tre Phelps. During Saturday’s 12-4 win over Samford, he had a four-hit game with a double, a home run, two RBIs, and three runs scored.
Eight different Georgia hitters had multi-hit games against Samford as well over the weekend.

The Georgia Bulldogs have a 6-1 record to begin the 2026 college baseball season.
