World No. 17 Germany outscored No. 15 Czechia in the final, 12-2 in six innings, to win the 2025 European Championship in Trieste, Italy.
Germany and Czechia became the first National Teams to qualify for the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2026.
Czechia took an early lead against starter Pascal Maibaum in the top of the second, but Germany came right back with a five-run bottom half of the frame. Czech starter Vilem Vancura led off the at bat, allowing a walk, Gideon Kutzner followed with a single and Fynn Weiss bunted for the hit. The first run scored on a wild pitch, the second on a sacrifice fly, and Luis Fermin capped the at-bat with a two-RBI double.
Germany outhit Czechia, 14-5. Weiss led the offence with a three-hit game. Maibaum pitched four innings and earned the win.
World No. 7 the Netherlands defeated No. 14 Italy in the bronze medal game, 11-10.
