Czechia dominated the friendly series, sweeping all three games with commanding performances both at the plate and on the mound.
Game 1 – July 31: Czechia 6, Germany 0
In front of 1,565 spectators, Czechia jumped to a 3–0 lead in the first inning and never looked back. Their pitching staff allowed just two hits across eight innings, securing a shutout win in a game that was shortened due to rain.
Game 2 – August 1: Czechia 15, Germany 5
In game two of the three-game exhibition series on Friday evening, Czechia celebrated a 15-5 win over Germany in front of an attendance of 706 in Regensburg. After Germany got off to a strong start and a quick 3-0 lead, Czechia turned the score around with a massive 12-run rally in the second and never looked back.
Game 3 – August 2: Czechia 6, Germany 3
To cap off the series Czechia celebrated a 6-3 win over Germany on Saturday afternoon. The game was delayed due to inclement weather prior to the start and also was shortened to eight innings due to the conditions. Czechia scored early for a 2-0 lead. After Germany cut the deficit in a half, Czechia build up the score again for a 6-1 advantage until the hosts rallied for two runs in the sixth. But in the end Czechia celebrated the sweep in the series.
This friendly series was organized under the responsibility of the Deutscher Baseball und Softball Verband (DBV), in coordination with WBSC Europe. It served as a competitive and developmental opportunity ahead of the 2025 U-23 Baseball European Championship.
