According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Giants called up their No. 1 prospect, first baseman Bryce Eldridge, from Triple-A Sacramento on September 15 prior to their three-game road series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Giants are still in the National League Wild Card race at 75-74, a game and a half back of the third-place New York Mets at 77-73. San Francisco sits a half game behind Arizona at 75-75 and a game ahead of the Cincinnati Reds at 74-75 heading into Monday night.

He signed with San Francisco on July 17, 2023, for an under-slot deal worth $4 million.
