How To Watch, Follow, and Attend La Gente Del Barrio — December 6, 2025

 Matt Tallarini - World Baseball Network  |    Dec 6th, 2025 12:30am EST

MIAMI — On Saturday, December 6, 2025, loanDepot park stops being a ballpark. It becomes the unofficial capital of Latin baseball, music, and Miami culture as La Gente del Barrio rolls out its 2025 Celebrity Softball Game and Home Run Derby. It’s the only place on Earth this weekend where you can see Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Juan Soto, Fernando Tatis Jr., Elly De La Cruz, Julio Rodríguez, and Eladio Carrión under one roof — and none of it is airing on traditional TV.

That’s part of the event’s identity.
La Gente del Barrio was born on social media and built its audience through handheld cameras, vertical videos, backstage chaos, and players going live from dugouts. If you want to watch tomorrow, you’re watching it exactly how the artists and athletes built it: on your phone, through @lgdelbarrio, @vg27foundation, @diamante23, @loanDepotpark, and the accounts of the stars themselves.

Every year, the live streams come straight from the source — from Tatis doing warmup dances to Soto flipping the bat for the camera to Vladdy Jr. showing off the clubhouse energy. This edition already looks even bigger. The organizers dropped a bomb this week with Eladio Carrión joining the lineup, confirming that Miami’s Art Basel weekend now includes bars, flow, and baserunning. Juan Soto’s announcement post drew thousands of comments instantly. The buzz is real.

And the roster tomorrow reads like a World Baseball Classic crammed into one afternoon. Guerrero Jr. and Soto headline a group that includes Tatis Jr., José Ramírez, Oneil Cruz, Elly De La Cruz, Ketel Marte, Noelvi Marte, Teoscar Hernández, Junior Caminero, Anthony Santander, Carlos Santana, Randy Arozarena, Geraldo Perdomo, Gleyber Torres, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Miguel Rojas, Ezequiel Tovar, Santiago Espinal, former Major League center fielder and Curaçao native Andruw Jones, and four-time World Series champion Jorge Posada.
