The tournament targets U11 girls (born in 2014 and younger) and will follow the coach-pitch format, allowing participants to play in a supportive and developmental environment, regardless of experience level. More than a traditional tournament, “Baseball is for Girls Too” provides a space where girls can compete, form friendships, and strengthen their identity in a sport still seen as male-dominated in many countries.
One of the key features of this year’s edition is the SuperCup 2026 selection component: girls born in 2016 or later will be evaluated during the tournament and may be selected to represent a Pan-European team at the prestigious SuperCup in Hluboká nad Vltavou in 2026.
The organizers are putting strong emphasis on the social and inclusive aspects of the event. Clubs who may not have enough girls to form a full team are encouraged to register individual players. These girls will be placed into special mixed teams, giving everyone the opportunity to play, grow, and represent their clubs on the European stage.
With an expected turnout of 8–10 teams from several countries, “Baseball is for Girls Too” is becoming an important meeting point for young players, coaches, and clubs who are passionate about the growth of girls’ baseball in Europe.
“This tournament is more than a game. It’s about building a future where girls know they belong in baseball,” said the organizers. “We’re creating space for young players to shine, to believe in themselves, and to be seen. The response we’ve received so far has been incredibly encouraging.”
