The Minor League season may be ending, but that doesn’t mean the fun is over. On October 4 and 5, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys will host the Going Yard event, a unique experience that allows fans to live out their professional baseball fantasies.
Fans will get the full package of minor league fun, including custom headshots, designated lockers, custom walk-up songs, and on-field batting practice. The day’s activities will conclude with a pickup game at Constellation Field, where all fans will get a chance to compete regardless of skill or experience.
The entertainment will continue the next day with a star-studded Home Run Derby. Participants include former MLB stars Andruw Jones, Rafael Palmeiro, and Jose Canseco, YouTuber Eric “The King of Juco” Sim, and Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel. All in all, it is sure to be a weekend to remember in Texas.
