Kansas City joins other Major League teams dropping new marketable post-all-star break ballpark food. They launched a video on social media featuring first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino and Sasquatch himself to highlight the Pasqwich.
“It’s like us, part Italian, part Pasquatch,” said Pasquantino, laughing between scripted lines, playing up the new sandwich as only the Team Italy slugger can.
According to the Royals, the Pasqwich consists of shaved Italian beef topped with two slices of provolone cheese, two strips of bacon, crispy golden-brown hashbrown patties, and Giardiniera Aioli, all served on a buttered and grilled Brioche Bun.
You can get your hands on the Pasqwich starting Friday, July 26, at Pasquantino’s stand at 208 near Gate A.
Pasquantino is hitting .258 with a career-high 11 home runs and 66 RBI this season. He played for Team Italy at the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
