Bell in 2025 with the Wildcats
In 2025, Bell put together a massive freshman season for Kentucky. He had a .296 batting average, a .907 OPS, and a .385 on-base percentage. He also had 17 doubles, 10 home runs, and 46 RBIs.
Bell was a part of the Southeastern Conference’s All-Freshman team in 2025 and was a D1 Baseball and National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) first-team Freshman All-American.
He accomplished all of this after being drafted 66th overall by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2024 MLB Draft.
Heading into this season, Bell was a part of the Golden Spikes Award watchlist and was also a D1 Baseball preseason third-team All-American.
The Wildcats are losing one of the best players in college baseball early in the 2026 season.
