After the Florida Gators completed a weekend series sweep against the South Carolina Gamecocks, head coach Kevin O’Sullivan reached the milestone of 750 career wins.

The 56-year-old skipper began coaching in Gainesville in 2008. From there, he turned Florida into one of the winningest programs in the country.

He has led the Gators to the NCAA Tournament in every season he has coached there. In those tournament appearances, he has led the team to the College World Series in Omaha nine times. He even led Florida to its first-ever national championship in 2017.

That same success has been replicated in the SEC. Under O’Sullivan, the Gators have won the regular season conference title six times. He has even provided Florida with success at the SEC Tournament in Hoover. The Gators have won two SEC Tournaments in 2011 and 2015 under their current head coach.

O’Sullivan has cemented himself as a coaching legend in college baseball history. He has created the winning brand of Florida baseball, which has lasted for nearly 20 years under his leadership.

After their series against South Carolina, Florida has won 10 of the last 12 SEC games. The Gators are peaking at the right time with an overall record of 33-16.
