Charros de Jalisco (11-5) 5, Naranjeros de Hermosillo (9-7) 4 (10 Innings) – The Charros and Naranjeros traded jabs all night, but it was Jalisco that took the win on Japhet Amador’s 10th inning RBI single that scored Johneshwy Fargas with the game-winner. Bligh Madris hit his fourth homer of the year in the bottom of the first Jose Aguilar had a two-run double for Jalisco in the bottom of the second. Jasson Atondo went 3-for-5 for Hermosillo, and Darick Hall had an RBI double for the Naranjeros.
Yaquis de Obregon (11-5) 6, Tomateros de Culiacan (8-8) 4 – Odrisamer Despaigne threw six shutout innings, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out five as Obregon kept pace with Jalisco for first place. Sebastian Elizalde hit a bases-loaded triple in the third and Roberto Valenzuela chipped in a two-run single in the seventh. J.P. Martinez hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the eight to cut the Obregon lead to 6-4, but that was as close as the Tomateros would get.

Caneros de Los Mochis (10-6) 5, Tucson Baseball Team (6-10) 4 – Eric Filia’s two-run double and Asael Sanchez’ two-run homer in the four-run top of the fourth was enough to get Los Mochis past Tucson. Bobby Bradley went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored for Tucson, Jose Urena had an RBI double, and Gaige Howard drove in a run with a single. Six relievers combined to go 6 2/3 scoreless innings for Tucson, allowing just four hits and two walks, but the Baseball Team couldn’t muster more offense.
Aguilas de Mexicali (9-7) 10, Jaguares de Nayarit (8-8) 6 – Estevan Florial went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and three runs scored as the Aguilas soared over the Jaguares. Yadiel Hernandez hit a two-run triple and Alex Mejia’s two-run double in the eighth put Mexicali ahead for good. Aldo Flores hit a three-run homer for Nayarit in the top of the eighth to tie the game at six. There was a nine-minute delay in the first inning due to electrical problems with the lights at El Nido de Las Aguilas.
Algodoneros de Guasave (4-12) 11, Venados de Mazatlan (4-12) 10 (10 Innings) – Alan Espinoza tied the game in the bottom of the 10th with a sacrifice fly, and Leo Heras singled home Rafael Franco with the game-winning run as Guasave climbed back into a tie for ninth place. Orlando Pina went 2-for-4 with two homers and six RBIs, hitting a solo shot in the second and a grand slam in the third for the Algodoneros, and Leo Heras hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the fourth. Keven Lamas and Jose Gaitan each had four RBIs for Mazatlan in the loss.
