The Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacifico has postponed several games in the Mexican state of Sinaloa in anticipation of the arrival of Hurricane Norma on Mexico’s Pacific coast.

The league announced that games between the Algodoneros de Guasave and the Caneros de Los Mochis in Los Mochis and the game between the Tomateros de Culiacan and the Sultanes de Monterrey in Culiacan are suspended until further notice.

A decision has not yet been made on tonight’s games between the Naranjeros de Hermosillo and the Aguilas de Mexicali and the Venados de Mazatlan and the Mayos de Navajoa.

Hurricane Norma is expected to make landfall in the Mexican state of Baja California del Sur between the cities of La Paz and Cabo San Lucas Saturday afternoon, before crossing the Gulf of California and making landfall near the city of Culiacan Sunday evening.
