Charros de Jalisco (17-12) 5, Tucson Baseball Team (11-18) 1 – Mateo Gil went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs in the series finale, hitting a two-run single in the bottom of the first that scored Billy Hamilton and Jared Serna. In the bottom of the fourth, Arturo Rodriguez hit a three-run homer that scored Gil and Julian Ornelas. Charros starter Luis Ivan Rodriguez threw 5 2/3 innings, allowing one run on five hits with a walk and three strikeouts, the only blemish a solo homer by Tucson’s River Town in the top of the first.
Aguilas de Mexicali (14-15) 4, Caneros de Los Mochis (17-12) 3 – The Aguilas jumped out tho a 3-0 lead in the third on RBI singles from Estevan Florial and Alex Mejia, but Los Mochis chipped away at the lead. The Caneros got a solo homer in the fifth from Rodolfo Amador, Dayson Croes scooted home in the sixth on a passed ball, and Carlos Soto’s RBI single in the seven scored Eric Filia to tie the game. In the seventh, Philip Evans hit a fly ball to center that was deep enough to score Norberto Obeso with the winning run for Mexicali.

Venados de Mazatlan (9-20) 3, Naranjeros de Hermosillo (17-12) 2 (10 Innings) – An RBI double in the second by Keven Lamas scored Andres Alvarez, and a wild pitch in the third allowed Miles Simington to score and give the Venados a 2-0 lead. In the top of the ninth, Hermosillo tied the game when Angel Ramirez hit an RBI double that scored TT Bowens, and two batters later, Edson Garcia was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, pushing Ramirez across the plate. Estamy Urena’s two-out, bases-loaded single in the 10th sent Italo Motta home with the winning run.
Tomateros de Culiacan (16-13) 8, Algodoneros de Guasave (10-19) 2 – Luis Verdugo went 2-for-4 with two RBIs as the Tomateros took the series finale from the Algodoneros, with Jon Singleton punctuating the victory with a solo homer in the eighth. Starter Francisco Haro allowed one run on two hits, striking out two and walking none. Alan Espinoza had a solo homer for Guasave in the sixth.
Jaguares de Nayarit (16-13) 4, Yaquis de Obregon (18-11) 3 – The Jaguares completed the sweep of first-place Obregon after falling behind 3-0. Obregon took a 2-0 lead in the first when Kyren Paris drove in Riley Unroe with a single, and they added another in the second on an RBI single by Kevin Villavicenio. In the third, Nayarit stormed back, getting a pair of runs on a single by Jesse Castillo, another on an RBI double by Niko Vasquez, and sending the winning run home with a sac fly by Jose Orozco.
