Jesus Fabela drove in Tucson’s lone run, hitting his second homer of the year in the bottom of the first.

Jaguares de Nayarit (8-7) 5, Aguilas de Mexicali (8-7) 2 – Carlos Sepulveda went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored, a walk and an RBI as Nayarit won the series opener to stay above .500.
