LAMP: Terry ‘TT’ Bowens Jr. Signs With Hermosillo; Reyes Is Back In Mexicali

First baseman and outfielder Terry ‘TT’ Bowens, who played the last five seasons in the Baltimore Orioles organization after finishing his college career at Central Connecticut State, has signed with the Naranjeros de Hermosillo for the winter of 2025-26.

In total, Bowen played 551 games in the Orioles chain with .238/.324/.424 slash line, 65 homers and 240 RBIs, rising as high as Triple-A in 2024 and 2025. With Norfolk, the Orioles top affiliate, Bowen appeared in 103 games with a .227 average, 19 homers and 64 RBIs.

The Naranjeros open the season at home on Oct. 15 against the Tucson Baseball Team.

Reyes Returns For Eighth Season In Mexicali – Ace David Reyes is back for another season in Mexicali.

“David is our number one pitcher in the rotation, it is important for him and for us that he stays healthy,” said José Amador, the general manager of Los Águilas de Mexicali. “David has earned that spot with hard work and professionalism.”

Reyes was spectacular for the Aguilas last season, throwing 87 innings in 14 starts with a 1.86 ERA and 71 strikeouts against just 14 walks. He was added to the Charros de Jalisco as a reinforcement for the Caribbean Series in Mexicali, where he made two starts and threw 14 innings, allowing one run on seven hits for a 0.69 ERA.

In total, Reyes has played 13 seasons of winter ball, all in the LAMP with the Yaquis de Obregon and Mexicali, throwing 893 2/3 innings over 207 appearances with a 3.28 ERA, a 1.191 WHIP, and 606 strikeouts.
