Yaquis de Obregon (16-6) 6, Algodoneros de Guasave (7-15) 4 (10 Innings) – Sebastian Elizalde launched the first pitch of top of the 10th inning over the right field wall for a two-run homer, giving the Yaquis the lead they’d have Efrain Contreras save in the bottom of the frame. Elizalde was 2-for-4 with the homer and an RBI single in the fifth for Obregon, which has opened up a two-game lead on second place Los Mochis. Esteban Quiroz and Orlando Pina each homered for Guasave.

Charros de Jalisco (13-9) 6, Caneros de Los Mochis (14-8) 3 – Japhet Amador’s two-run single in the second gave the Charros a 2-1 lead, and Daniel Castro followed with a sac fly that scored Amador. An inning later, Jared Serna’s two-run homer put Jalisco up 5-1, and Bligh Madris added an RBI single in the seventh for insurance. Josh Rehwaldt went 3-for-4 for Los Mochis.

Naranjeros de Hermosillo (12-10) 6, Aguilas de Mexicali (11-11) 3 – Starter Touki Toussaint threw a complete game for Hermosillo, allowing three runs on five hits, walking one and striking out 10. Harold Ramirez went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and Jasson Atondo scored three runs, walked twice, and drove in a run with an RBI triple for the Naranjeros. All three Aguilas runs came from the long ball, with Alex Mejia’s two-run shot in the fifth scoring Estevan Florial, and Florial later hit a solo homer in the seventh.
