Arizona State’s Landon Hairston has been one of the best hitters in the country this season.
He has a .469 batting average, a slugging percentage north of 1.000, 17 home runs, and 48 RBIs.
Hairston is currently second in the country in home runs behind Cincinnati’s Quinton Coats. In the past five games, the Arizona State infielder has seven home runs.
He was recently named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week and the USA Baseball Golden Spikes Player of the Week as well.
It has truly been a breakout sophomore season for Hairston in Tempe.
Hairston and his 2025 season with Arizona State
In 2025, Hairston had a solid freshman season for the Sun Devils. He had a .333 batting average in 195 at-bats with 12 doubles and 37 RBIs.
The great freshman season Hairston had led to some individual accolades. He was a National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Freshman All-American, first-team All-Big 12, and was also a part of the Big 12’s All-Freshman team.
With the help of Hairston, Arizona State made the NCAA Tournament in 2025. That appearance ended a three-year drought of not making the postseason for the Sun Devils.
Up next for Arizona State
