The 2025 MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta is less than a month away. With phase one of All-Star voting set to end this Thursday, June 26, at 12:00 EDT, several international players have been represented so far. The All-Star Weekend will be a must watch, with players like Ronald Acuña Jr. possibly entering the Home Run Derby as well.
All-Star voting opened on June 4, and fans of all teams in Major League Baseball have voted for who they want to see represented in this year’s “Midsummer Classic.” Here are the current international players that if voting ended today would make the All-Star game.

If voting ended right now, the Dominican Republic would lead international players represented with seven players selected. Puerto Rico and Venezuela would both have two. This is subject to change, as although voting closes in just two days, players like Jose Altuve and Andy Pages are within striking distance to be selected. Additionally, injury replacements if needed could reflect the final number of international All-Stars this season.
As seen in the above tweet, the two players highlighted in gray at each position will advance to the next stage of voting to determine the starters for each league in the All-Star game. The next stage of voting beings at 12:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, June 30, and continue until 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 2. The winners at each position will be revealed on ESPN later on that same night.
This MLB All-Star weekend is loaded with festivities. Besides just the All-Star Game, there will be the third ever HBCU Swingman Classic, the annual Celebrity Softball Game, the 2025 MLB Draft, and of course, the 2025 Home Run Derby. A player that many fans would be interested in seeing compete in the Home Run Derby is probable N.L. All-Star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. The 27 year old former N.L. MVP has had a phenomenal year so far in his return from an ACL tear that cut his season short last year. Acuña recently expressed his desire to participate in the Home Run Derby this year if invited by MLB’s selection committee.
Ronald Acuña Jr. nos dijo en @ElExtrabase que quiere participar en el Home Run Derby si @MLB le hace la invitación.

Acuña has been in the Home Run Derby twice before: once in 2019 and once in 2022. He has not captured the crown in either appearance, but maybe this year could be the time he finally gets it done.
