The Liga Beisbol Profesional de Roberto Clemente’s 2025-26 season will begin on November 7, the league announced Tuesday, with a game between the Senadores de San Juan and the Indios de Mayaguez at Estadio Isidoro “Cholo” García in Mayaguez.
Mayaguez won the 2024-25 LBPRC title, beating the Senadores in the title series four games to one and earning a berth in the 2025 Caribbean Series in Mexicali, Mexico, where they went 2-2 in round robin play before losing 3-1 in the semifinal to the Charros de Jalisco of the Liga Mexicana del Pacifico.
All six LBPRC teams hit the field the next night, November 8, with the Gigantes de Carolina visiting the Criollos de Caguas, the Indios visiting the Leones de Ponce, and the Cangrejeros de Santurce visiting the Senadores.
The LBPRC has no games scheduled November 14-16, as the league’s All-Stars will travel to New York to face the LIDOM All-Stars at Citi Field, the home of Major League Baseball’s New York Mets.
Off days for the league are also schedule for November 10, November 24, December 1, December 3, December 8, December 15, December 18, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
The LBPRC Wild Card Game is scheduled for December 29, and the league will be off December 30 to Jan. 1, 2026. The playoff semifinals series will begin January 2, with the second-place finisher in the regular season hosting the third-place finisher and the first-place finisher hosting the Wild Card Game winner. Game two of the semifinals series will be the next night, with the series traveling to the lower seed, and then game three will be played at the home of the higher seed on January 3. There will be no games scheduled January 5-6, with the semifinals resuming on January 7 and concluding on January 10.
After two days off, the LBPRC Championship Series, a best-of-seven, will begin on January 13, with thLeofe winner representing Puerto Rico at the 2026 Caribbean Series in Caracas and La Guaira, Venezuela.
