Estrellas Orientales (10-12) 6, Gigantes del Cibao (7-11) 1 – On Monday night, the Estrellas Orientales seized control early and never let up against the Gigantes del Cibao, delivering one of their most complete performances of the season.
Oscar De La Cruz worked five innings, striking out three and allowing two hits, while Raimel Tapia went 3-for-4 and added an RBI and Ángel Martínez scored twice.
In the top of the third, Josh Lester lifted a deep fly ball to right-center for his third home run of the season, providing the Estrellas a 1-0 lead.

Two innings later, José Tena ripped a sharp line drive to right field for his first home run of the season for a 2-0 lead.
In the top of the seventh, Tapia sent a grounder up the middle for a single, bringing Rodolfo Durán home for to make it 4-0. They added two more in the eighth when Vidal Brujan drew a bases-loaded walk that pushed Robinson Cano across, and a wild pitch later allowed Martinez to score for a 6-0 lead.
The Gigantes got their only run in the bottom of the ninth when Diego Hernández lined a sharp single into left field, allowing Julio Carreras to race home.
Toros del Este (10-9) 8, Leones del Escogido (8-12) 4 – Monday night, the Toros del Este unleashed a relentless offensive surge, showcasing their power against the Leones del Escogido.
Gilberto Celestino went 4-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases for the Toros, while Erik González went 3-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI, and one run scored for the Leones.
In the bottom of the first, Bryan de la Cruz hit into a fielder’s choice at short that allowed Gilberto Celestino to score, giving the Toros a 1-0 lead.

In the top of the third, González hit a sharp single to right, bringing home Gio Urshela to tie the game. Héctor Rodríguez later lined a single to center, bringing Chadwick Tromp home for a 2-1 Leones lead.
In the bottom of the fifth, after Ronaldo Hernandez was awarded home plate on a balk, Bryan De La Cruz launched a fly ball over the left-field wall for his second home run of the season, driving in Celestino to make it 5-2.
An inning later, Denzer Guzmán followed with his first home run of the season giving the Toros a 6-2 lead. Celestino singled home Socrates Brito later in the inning, and a bases-loaded walk in the seventh to Gustavo Campero made it 8-2.
Águilas Cibaeñas (15-3) 6, Tigres del Licey (8-11) 4 (10 Innings) – On Monday night, the Águilas Cibaeñas edged the Tigres del Licey in 10 innings, maintaining their grip on first place in LIDOM.
Emmanuel Rodríguez went 2-for-3 at the plate, including a double, walked once, was hit by a pitch, and scored a run for the Aguilas.

In the top of the 10th, Adael Amador singlde to right field, sending Wilmer Difo and Juan Lagares across the plate.
Luis Campusano went 2-for-5, including a home run, drove in two RBIs and scored one run for Licey in the loss.
