Jorge Mateo delivered a perfect 4-for-4 night with a home run, a hit-by-pitch, four RBIs, and two runs scored and Ismael Munguia finished a flawless 3-for-3 performance with a double, a hit-by-pitch, and scored three times.
In the top of the second, Jorge Mateo ripped a sharp line-drive single into left field off Mel Rojas Jr., bringing Ismael Munguía home for a 1-0 lead.
Francisco Peña drilled a fly ball into the left-center gap for a ground-rule double, clearing the bases as Ismael Munguía and Jorge Mateo both raced home to make it 6-0 Estrellas in the fourth.

Domingo Leyba crushed a fly ball over the right-field wall for his first home run, plating Cristhian Adames and getting the Tigres on the board in the top of the sixth. Domingo Leyba went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two RBIs, and a run scored for Licey.

José Marmolejos went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base and Travis Lakins Sr. pitched five innings, allowing three hits and one earned run with no strikeouts for the Leones.

In the seventh, Elih Marrero launched a fly ball over the left-center field wall for his first home run, driving in Albert Fabian and Juan Lagares to cut the lead to 6-4. Marrero went 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk, three RBIs and a run scored for the Aguilas.
Gigantes del Cibao (20-25) 2, Toros del Este (25-20) 1 – Nomar Mazara went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, one RBI and one run scored, while Shane Greene pitched four innings, allowing two hits and no earned runs with four strikeouts, and Jaime Barria threw five innings, giving up four hits and one earned run with six strikeouts.
In the top of the fifth, Julio Carreras hit a fly ball over the left-field wall for his first home run, giving the Gigantes a 1-0 lead.
