The Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacifico held meetings in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico this week.
Representatives of each of the 10 LAMP teams, along with league president Carlos Manrique González and sports director Christian Veliz Valencia were present at the meetings, where the order for the 2025 LAMP Mexican and Foreign Player Drafts were drawn.
The two drafts will be conducted on July 1, at a venue to be determined. Foreign players who are playing or residing in Mexico are eligible to be taken in the foreign player draft, while players who are free agents in the LAMP and are Mexican citizens are eligible to be selected in the Mexican player draft.
Trevor Bauer, who was the Pitcher of the Year with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico of the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol last summer, was selected first overall in the 2024 LAMP Foreign Player Draft by the Naranjeros de Hermosillo, but did not play winter ball.
