Guerreros de Oaxaca (10-7) 7, Conspiradores de Queretaro (7-10) 6 (Game 1/Nine Innings) – Juan Santana’s single in the top of the ninth scored Alexi Amarista with the winning run as the Guerreros took the first game of the double header in extra innings. Roberto Valenzuela went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, and three RBIs for the Guerreros, and Yonathan Daza doubled twice and drove in a run. Kelvin Gutierrez drove in two runs with a triple in the fifth for Queretaro.
Conspiradores de Queretaro (8-10) 5, Guerreros de Oaxaca (10-8) 4 (Game 2/Seven Innings) – Yurisbel Gracial’s single in the bottom of the seventh sent Dwight Smith Jr. home to end the game and split the doubleheader after solo homers by Yangervis Solarte and Alen Hanson tied it an inning earlier. Starter Tyler Alexander threw 4 2/3 innings, allowing two runs, one of them earned, on six hits and a walk, striking out three.

Caliente de Durango (9-9) 5, Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (9-9) 4 – Elier Hernandez hit a two-run homer in the fourth and Adre Lipcius drove in the go-ahead run with a single in the seventh as the Caliente got back to .500. Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Felix Doubront threw three innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out four.

Pericos de Puebla (10-8) 10, Tigres de Quintana Roo (8-10) 4 – Moises Gomez went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, four RBIs, and hit a pair of homers, launching a three-run shot in the first and a solo homer in the fifth to give him eight on the season as the Pericos flew by the Tigres.
Diablos Rojos del Mexico (12-6) 25, El Aguila de Veracruz (9-9) 3 – Franklin Barreto went 3-for-6 with two homers, three runs scored, and seven RBIs, and Robinson Cano went 4-for-6 with three doubles as the Diablos clipped El Aguila’s wings. Carlos Perez drove in four runs for the Diablos, and four others drove in three runs apiece for the Reds, who scored 10 in the fourth and seven in the sixth to run away with the win.
Olmecas de Tabasco (7-11) 6, Leones de Yucatan (7-11) 0 – Jeremy Rhoades threw 6 1/3 shutout innings, walking two and striking out three, as the Olmecas won their fourth straight and opened the cellar door. Randy Romero’s RBI single in the second provided all the offense Tabasco would need, and Marco Hernandez added a two-run homer in the sixth.
Bravos de Leon (11-7) 17, Piratas de Campeche (8-10) 13 – Magneuris Sierra, Gabriel Cancel, and Connor Panas each drove in three runs for Leon, and three others drove in two apiece as the Bravos won an artillery duel over Campeche. Panas hit a three-run homer in the second to give the Bravos a lead they wouldn’t relinquish, and Cancel’s two-run homer came in the eight-run third. Andrew Stevenson hit his 10th homer of the year for Campeche, putting him one behind Jon Singleton of the Diablos for the league lead.
Rieleros de Aguascalientes (11-7) 5, Dorados de Chihuahua (6-12) 1 – A solo homer from Andretty Cordero and two-run dingers from Leonel Valera and Angel Reyes accounted for all five Rieleros runs as they improved to 11-7 on the year. Starter Oscar De La Cruz threw seven scoreless innings, walking one and striking out four for Aguascalientes.
Charros de Jalisco (10-8) 7, Algodoneros de Union Laguna (7-11) 6 (10 Innings) – RBI singles from Kyle Garlick and Johneshwy Fargas in the bottom of the 10th got the Charros their 10th win of the season. Garlick went 3-for-4, scored twice, hit a two-run homer, and drove in three runs for Jalisco.

Toros de Tijuana (11-6) 7, Sultanes de Monterrey (13-5) 6 – Hernan Perez’s two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth got the Toros the win in the final game of the series between the top two teams in the Zona Norte. Isaac Rodriguez drove in two runs with a single in the sixth for Tijuana, and five relievers combined to allow two runs on three hits over the final 5 2/3 innings for the Toros. Ramiro Pena and Carlos Soto each hit solo homers for Monterrey.
