Charros de Jalisco (32-26) 11, Saraperos de Saltillo (21-34) 1 (Game 1/Seven Innings) – Jalisco’s Mateo Gil went 3-for-4 and drove in four runs with a pair of singles and a double in the first game of Tuesday’s doubleheader. Luis Ivan Rodriguez threw six scoreless innings, allowing six hits and striking out for for the Charros.
Charros de Jalisco (33-26) 5, Saraperos de Saltillo (21-35) 1 (Game 2/Seven Innings) – Kyle Garlick hit a two-run homer in the first and an RBI triple in the third to get the Charros past Saltillo in the second game. Starter Manny Barreda allowed one run on eight hits in five innings of work, striking out two.
Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (24-34) 4, Algodoneros de Union Laguna (24-34) 3 – A triple by Jonathan Arauz in the eighth scored Ariel Sandoval and Jose Rodriguez to get Dos Laredos past Union Laguna. Zoilo Almonte drove in a pair for the Tecos with a homer in the fourth. Algodoneros starter Touki Toussaint allowed two runs on six hits and two walks, striking out nine in six innings of work.

Tigres de Quintana Roo (28-28) 6, Leones de Yucatan (21-36) (Game 1/Seven Innings) – Kennys Vargas hit a two-run homer and a sac fly to drive in three runs and Calvin Estrada went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI as Quintana Roo got back to .500 on the season.
Leones de Yucatan (22-36) , Tigres de Quintana Roo (28-29) 0 (Game 2/Seven Innings) – An even record didn’t last long for the Tigres, who only managed two hits and a walk in six innings off Leones’ starter Ronnie Williams, who struck out four, and Colten Brewer threw a perfect seventh to finish the shutout. Henry Ramos drove in four runs for the Leones, three of them in the sixth with a bases loaded double.
Conspiradores de Queretaro (28-30) 9, Olmecas de Tabasco (35-23) 2 (Game 1/Seven Innings) – Yangervis Solarte hit a solo homer, his 15th of the year, to kick off a five-run third inning as the Conspiradores blew out the Olmecas in the first game of the doubleheader. Alen Hanson added a two-run homer in the sixth for Queretaro and Henry Urrutia had a pair of RBIs.
Olmecas de Tabasco (36-23) 3, Conspiradores de Queretaro (28-31) (Game 2/Seven Innings) – A troika of RBI singles in the top of the seventh, one from Yamaico Navarro, another from Antonio Almeida, and the third from Marco Hernandez, got the Olmecas a split. Starter Tyler Viza allowed two hits over five scoreless innings for Queretaro, striking out three.
Diablos Rojos del Mexico (38-21) 5, Piratas de Campeche (26-30) 3 (12 Innings) – A two-run homer by Juan Carlos Gamboa gave the Diablos the edge over Campeche. It was Gamboa’s second homer in as many games after the veteran hit a grand slam on Monday. Franklin Barreto went 3-for-4 in the game, and Tomohiro Anraku earned his ninth save for the Diablos.

Pericos de Puebla (30-27) 5, Guerreros de Oaxaca (33-25) 4 – Michael De La Cruz hit a two-run homer in the first, Cristhian Adames hit a solo homer in the fifth, and the Pericos survived a three-run rally in the bottom of the ninth to take the series opener from Oaxaca. Starter Vladimir Gutierrez allowed one run on three hits, walking two and striking out one over six innings of work.
Rieleros de Aguascalientes (26-30) 10, Sultanes de Monterrey (29-28) 0 – Maikel Serrano, Angel Reyes, and Gabriel Lino each hit two-run homers as the Rieleros embarrassed Monterrey in the series opener. Matt McDermott went 3-for-5 for the Rieleros, missing hitting for cycle by not hitting a homer. Adrian Almeida struck out 10 and allowed four hits and a walk in six shutout innings for Aguascalientes.

Bravos de Leon (32-26) 14, El Aguila de Veracruz (25-32) 6 – Gabriel Cancel retook the league lead with his 21st homer of the season, Carlos Martinez hit a two-run homer, and Sandber Pimentel hit a grand slam as the Bravos whupped Veracruz. Zac Lowther allowed six hits and a walk, striking out two over six shutout innings for Leon.
Caliente de Durango (31-26) 4, Acereros de Monclova (29-29) – Alejandro Mejia doubled home Estevan Florial in the second, Elier Hernandez followed Mejia with a homer, and Florial hit a solo homer in the fourth as Durango handed Monclova its sixth straight loss. Balbino Fuenmayor had a pair of RBIs in the loss.
Dorados de Chihuahua (21-37) 4, Toros de Tijuana (39-18) 0 – Andre Lipcius and Gilberto Vizcarra had RBI singles and Coco Montes had an RBI doubles as the Dorados scored four in the sixth to get by the league-leading Toros. Aderlin Rodriguez hit a two-run homer for Tijuana.
