Acereros de Monclova (11-10) at Caliente de Durango (10-11) – The game was suspended due to rain in the top of the second inning with the Acereros leading 1-0. It will resume today prior to the second game of the series with Eric Filia on second base and Jacob Rhinesmith at bat with a 2-1 count with two outs in top of the second.
Olmecas de Tabasco (10-12) 4, Diablos Rojos del Mexico (12-10) 2 – The Diablos’ losing skid hit four games with the series-opening loss to Tabasco Tuesday. Jose Marmolejos hit his first homer of the season, a solo shot in the top of the third, for the Diablos.
Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (10-12) 7, Algodoneros de Union Laguna (10-12) 4 – Zoilo Almonte hit a three-run homer and drove in another run with a sac fly as the Tecos got past Union Laguna.
