Liga Mexicana de Beisbol: Toros de Tijuana 20 Games Over .500 After First Inter-Division Series

Pericos de Puebla (26-22) 7, Saraperos de Saltillo (15-30) 0 – Starter Landen Bourassa threw five shutout innings for Puebla, allowing three hits, a walk, and fanning seven, and the bullpen preserved the zeroes on the scoreboard. Luis Castro drove in three runs with a pair of singles, and Herlis Rodriguez hit his fifth homer of the year, a two-run shot in the eighth, as the Pericos scored seven runs on 14 hits.

Dorados de Chihuahua (19-29) 10, Piratas de Campeche (19-26) 1 – Caleb Smith allowed a hit and two walks over six scoreless innings, striking out nine Piratas, and Leobaldo Pina and Mark Contreras each went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Pina doubled twice in the game, and Campeche mustered just three hits in the loss.

Conspiradores de Queretaro (22-26) 11, Algodoneros at Union Laguna (21-27) 6 – Fabricio Macias capped a six-run first inning for Queretaro with a two-run homer, and Rainel Rosario hit a three-run homer in the second, when the Conspiradores added four more before cruising the rest of the way. Alen Hanson added a solo homer in the eighth. Union Laguna got a solo homer from Albert Lara.

Toros de Tijuana (33-13) 6, El Aguila de Veracruz (21-26) 1 – Hernan Perez homered in the third and hit a two-run single in the fifth, later scoring on a single by Franchy Cordero, as the Toros climbed to 20 games over .500 with the win. Junior Lake hit a two-run homer in the ninth, and Daniel Martinez allowed four hits over six shutout innings, while the Toros bullpen allowed three hits over three innings, preserving the shutout.

Rieleros de Aguascalientes (22-25) at Leones de Yucatan (17-30) – This game was cancelled due to rain and will not be rescheduled.

Bravos de Leon (28-20) 6, Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (21-27) 2 – Esteban Quiroz went 2-for-5 with four RBIs for Leon, hitting a three-run homer in the third that gave the Bravos the lead for good, and Connor Panas hit his 11th homer of the year, a solo shot in the eighth, as the Bravos held on to third place in the Zona Sur. Cade Gotta hit a solo homer for Dos Laredos.

Caliente de Durango (22-25) 7, Olmecas de Tabasco (29-19) 4 – Victor Marquez hit a solo homer and Alejandro Mejia hit a grand slam as the Caliente turned up the heat in the fifth, scoring six on their way to a win in the series finale. Former New York Yankee Estevan Florial hit a solo homer in the eighth for Durango. Rangel Romero’s two run homer in the seventh was the highlight of the night for the Olmecas.

Diablos Rojos del Mexico (30-18) 11, Acereros de Monclova (26-22) 4 – Staked to a 6-0 lead before he took the mound, Diablos starter Justin Courtney threw six innings, allowing one run on two hits and a walk, striking out four as the Diablos stomped the Acereros. Francisco Mejia and Rio Ruiz each hit two-run singles in the first, Moises Gutierrez hit a three-run homer in the third, and Francisco Mejia added a solo homer in the fourth, giving the Diablos an 11-0 lead.

All-Star Balloting Underway – Fans can vote for who they want to see play in the 2026 LMB Juego de Estrellas, which will pit the Mexican All-Stars against the LMB All-Stars, a club composed of players from outside Mexico.

Lorenzo Bundy, the manager who led the Diablos Rojos del México to back-to-back championships in 2024 and 2025, will manage the LMB All-Star team and Benji Gil of the Charros de Jalisco, will lead the coaching staff of the Mexican All-Stars.

The roster for the LMB Banorte All-Stars will be announced on Sunday, June 14. Fans can vote on the league website by clicking here.
