Game six of the first round Zona Sur playoff series between the Guerreros de Oaxaca and Leones de Yucatan was postponed Sunday after torrential rains made the field at Estadio Victor Cervera Pacheco in Merida’s Kanasin neighborhood unplayable.
The game has been rescheduled for Monday, August 12, at 7:35 p.m. EDT, with Cesar Valdez pitching for Yucatan against Radhames Liz for Oaxaca. The Guerreros lead the series three games to two. Game seven, if necessary, will be played Tuesday at 7:35 p.m. EDT.
