LMB Playoffs: Laredo and Monterrey Rained Out; Both Game Sixes Tonight

Game six of the series between the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos and the Sultanes de Monterrey was rained out Friday evening.

The contest has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. EDT Saturday, with Dos Laredos’ Nate Antone starting against Monterrey’s Jared Lakind at Estadio Exxon Mobil Super in Monterrey. Monterrey, which won the Zona Norte title in the regular season, leads the series 3-2. If necessary, game seven will be played Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT.

In the Zona Sur, the Diablos Rojos del Mexico will face the Guerreros de Oaxaca at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu in Mexico City, with Radhames Liz starting for Oaxaca against Erick Leal for Mexico City at 7 p.m. EDT Saturday. The Guerreros took the first three games of the series, while Mexico City won games four and five. If necessary, game seven will be played Sunday at 5 p.m. EDT.
