For the third consecutive spring, a team from the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol will face a Major League Baseball team during spring training.
The Sultanes de Monterrey, who hosted the Boston Red Sox last spring at Walmart Park in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, will travel to San Francisco to face the Giants on March 23-24, 2026 at Oracle Park. The spring games between the Sultanes and the Giants would mark the first time that an LMB club has traveled to the United States to face an MLB club in an MLB ballpark.
In 2024, the New York Yankees traveled to Mexico City, where they faced the Diablos Rojos del Mexico, who are currently playing in the Serie del Rey, the championship series of the LMB.
The day after the series with the Sultanes concludes, the Giants will open the MLB regular season, hosting the New York Yankees at Oracle Park.
