The Los Angeles Dodgers will hold their second annual Salvadoran Heritage Night on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles. Fans who bought the special ticket package will receive an exclusive Salvadoran Heritage Night jersey as part of the festivities.

Some pregame events for fans who attend the game include Radio Pulgarcito, a DJ and vinyl record collective in Los Angeles specializing in music from El Salvador. Fans can also experience a Latin dance band featuring a variety of music. Salvadoran football player Mauricio Cienfuegos, who played seven years with the LA Galaxy, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Angie K, a singer from El Salvador, will sing the National Anthem.

The Dodgers will also have several Salvadoran delicacies available for fans to eat throughout the stadium.

Tuesday will be another Heritage Night that the Dodgers have held this season. On July 2, a Japanese Heritage Night was held at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers continue to be an inclusive organization representing its community and offering opportunities for people from other backgrounds to experience another culture.

El Salvador has never had a player reach the MLB, but it is a nation that loves baseball and is making efforts to grow the game.

The Dodgers begin a three-game series against the Orioles. Both teams are deep in the mix for the postseason, with Baltimore holding the top wild-card spot in the American League.
