Through the first four games of the season, the LSU Tigers are 4-0. They have three wins over the Milwaukee Panthers and one over the Kent State Golden Flashes.
LSU has scored 51 runs in the first four games as well. It is quite the start as they defend their 2025 national championship.
Brown and his LSU career, 2026 MLB Draft stock
Brown played two full seasons at LSU before 2026. In 2025, he had a breakout season, posting a .320 batting average, 9 doubles, 8 home runs, and 48 RBIs.
He is already halfway to surpassing his home run total last season.
The Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) named him a second-team All-Louisiana player in 2025 as well.
Brown is a prospect to watch for the 2026 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft. He is a top 55 draft prospect this season, according to MLB Pipeline.
