Pike was the 561st pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, selected by the Washington Nationals in the 19th round.
According to Perfect Game, Pike is a top-50 player in the 2025 high school class and is ranked as the second-best player from the state of Washington.
He is considered a unique high school prospect. Pike is primarily a switch-hitting, two-way player who plays shortstop in the field.
During his senior season at Puyallup High School, Pike had a .482 batting average and posted a 0.84 ERA in 66 ⅔ innings on the mound.
The talented two-way prospect from Washington is an integral part of Oregon State’s 2025 recruiting class, which ranks 18th in the country according to Perfect Game.
Pike is one of two top-100 recruits in the Beavers’ class. The other is Xavier Neyens, who was the fifth-best player in the 2025 high school class.
Unlike Pike, Neyens signed with the Houston Astros organization after being drafted in the first round.
