The National League and American League Starters are announced. Cody Johnson sang the National Anthem. Rangers Legend Adrian Beltre threw the ceremonial first pitch to Pudge Rodriguez.
1st Inning:
Ketel Marte grounded out to first for the first out of the game. Shohei Ohtani is the first base runner of the game via a walk. The first inning ended on a groundout by Aaron Judge. 0-0.
2nd Inning:
Tarik Skubal pitched a one, two, three inning to start the second inning. The three Phillies infielders were mic’d up for the National League. 0-0.
3rd Inning:
Shohei Ohtani opens up the scoring with a three run homer. Ohtani becomes the first player to win an All-Star game as a pitcher and hit a home run in the All-Star game.

Juan Soto gets the AL on the board with a two RBI double into right field. A single from David Fry drives in Soto and the game is tied. 3-3.

4th Inning:
A dazzling play from Gunnar Henderson at shortstop ends the top half of the inning. Shota Imanaga deals a one, two, three inning to keep the game tied . 3-3.
5th Inning:
Corey Seager misses a home run by just a few feet to keep it even before Jarren Duran hit a two run homer a few batters later to give the AL the lead. 5-3.
6th Inning:
Bryce Harper hit a ball to the warning track to narrowly miss a home run to begin the sixth. A replay review overturned a safe call on the field and resulted in a double play for the AL. Dominican Republic born Christopher Sanchez gets two outs on two pitches before getting pulled from the game. 5-3.
7th Inning:
Elly De La Cruz singled in his All-Star debut to start the action in the seventh.

Robert Suarez and Matt Strahm struck out the side for the NL. 5-3.
8th Inning:
Pitchers from both leagues allow zero baserunners in a quiet eighth inning. 5-3.
9th Inning:
Emmanuel Clase slammed the door on the NL. The AL picks up the win for the tenth win in the last 11 All-Star games. 5-3.
MVP:
Jarren Duran is awarded the Ted Williams All-Star Game MVP. Duran is in his fourth season with the Boston Red Sox. He hit the game winning home run for the AL in the fifth inning.
