The final day of games before the All-Star provided fans with exciting storylines. Here’s everything from yesterday in the MLB.

Orioles 6 Yankees 5

  • The Orioles avoided a three-game sweep by the Yankees to remain in first place in the AL East. Cedric Mullins walked off New York with a two-run double. Baltimore rallied from three down in the ninth to win and snap their five-game losing streak before the break.

Red Sox 5 Royals 4

  • Boston improved to a league-best 9-3 in July after winning the final two games against the Royals. Rafael Devers hit a deep fly ball that broke a seat in the outfield at Fenway to homer in his second straight game.

A’s 18 Phillies 3

  • The A’s hit a ridiculous eight home runs to take the series in Philadelphia, which is just the third home series the Phillies have lost this season. Lawrence Butler hit three home runs, and Brent Rooker and Seth Brown added two home runs.

Tigers 4 Dodgers 3

  • Late errors from Dodgers pitcher Yohan Ramirez led to the Tigers walking off the Dodgers for the second straight day. A sacrifice bunt from Wenceel Perez advanced the runners before a wild throw to third base scored the winning run for Detroit. The Tigers hand LA their sixth loss in the last seven and have won three straight series of their own.

Rays 2 Guardians 0

  • The Rays scored both runs off solo homers and won the series against the stumbling Guardians. Cleveland has lost 11 of 18 but still has the best record in the AL before the All-Star break, the first time since 1999. They also had the first pick in the MLB draft last night and made history.

  • Texas won seven of their last ten and head into the All-Star break sitting in third in the AL West. Josh Smith drove in all of the Rangers runs including two home runs to carry the defending champions to victory.

Pirates 9 White Sox 4

  • The Pirates remain hot, winning their fourth straight and sixth of seven in a sweep of Chicago. Homers from Joey Bart and Bryan Reynolds helped Pittsburgh climb to .500 for the first time since April 27. The White Sox are the first team in league history to have 70 losses before the All-Star break.

Brewers 9 Nationals 3

  • Willy Adames drove in four runs and went deep to help the Brewers avoid a series sweep and a four-game losing streak. Milwaukee heads into the break in first place in the NL Central.

  • The Cubs hit six home runs to split the four-game series against their rivals. Two homers from Pete Crow-Armstrong and Christopher Morel led the charge for Chicago.

Giants 3 Twins 2

  • A triple from Mike Yastrzemski caused a throwing error by the Twins, allowing Yastrzemski to score and walk off Minnesota. Former Cy Young winner Blake Snell allowed one and struck out eight hitters in seven innings for his best outing this season.

Angels 3 Mariners 2

  •  The Angels won three straight against Seattle after dropping the first game of the series. Jo Adell completed the Halos comeback with one swing in the eighth by way of a three-run homer.

Blue Jays 8 Diamondbacks 7

  • Toronto surrendered a seven-run lead in the fifth inning but ended up on top thanks to a solo shot from All-Star Vlad Guerrero Jr. in the seventh. The Blue Jays avoided the sweep by Arizona but remain in last place in a tough AL East.
