The N.C. State Wolfpack announced that they will be facing off against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in a fall exhibition game.

The game will take place in Fredericksburg, VA on October 11. The first pitch for the game is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. EDT.

The site of the matchup between N.C. State and Wake Forest will be Virginia Credit Union Stadium. The ballpark is home to the Fredericksburg Nationals. They are the Single-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.

This is the second conference opponent the Wolfpack will face in fall exhibitions. N.C. State also announced that they will be playing the North Carolina Tar Heels at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Breaking Down N.C. State and Wake Forest’s 2025 Seasons

The N.C. State Wolfpack went 35-21 overall and were 17-11 in ACC play. They made the NCAA Tournament and were the two seed in the Auburn regional.

Despite two wins in regional play against Central Connecticut State and Stetson, they did not advance to the super regionals.

Wake Forest went 39-22 in 2025. They also had a 16-14 record in ACC play. Much like N.C. State, the Demon Deacons also made the NCAA Tournament. They were the two seed in the Knoxville regional.

Despite not making it to a super regional, Wake Forest was able to pick up wins against Tennessee, Miami (Ohio), and Cincinnati during regional play.

N.C. State and Wake Forest did not play a weekend series against each other during the 2025 college baseball season.
