The USC Trojans enter the 2025 season as newcomers to the Big 10 conference. Thus, this schedule will be completely new compared to what head coach Andy Stankiewicz’s program is used to.
The team finished with a 31-28 overall record, and their season came to a heartbreaking end with a 4-3 loss to the Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Championship game. As they turn the page to 2025 in search of more postseason success, here is a breakdown of their schedule that sets a path toward another winning season in Los Angeles.
It is important to note that USC’s standard home ballpark, Dedeaux Field, is still under construction and undergoing renovations. Thus, the Trojans will play most of their “home” games at Great Park in Irvine, Calif.

The season will begin at USC’s home as they host George Washington from Feb.14-16. Then, on Feb.18-19, they will have back-to-back mid-week games against UC Irvine and CSU Bakersfield, respectively.
The Trojans’ first road game of the season will be against UC Irvine in Anteater Ballpark. The game against CSU Bakersfield will be played at Page Stadium in Los Angeles, the usual home for Loyola Marymount’s baseball team.
USC will make a big trip for its first road weekend series of the season. From Feb.21-23, it will be in Houston, taking on Rice. The mid-week game the following week, Feb. 25, will still have them on the road, playing against a historic, nearby powerhouse program in Cal State Fullerton.
Various opponents will come to Great Park to play USC at the beginning of March. The UConn Huskies will come to play them on Friday, Feb. 28. The following day, on Mar. 1, the Vanderbilt Commodores will be in town for a game. Then, the Trojans’ top rival, UCLA, is there to play them on Mar. 2. The UCLA game does not yet have a location where it will take place.
This uniquely slated weekend for USC will be a good test to see what they are all about. This is the true, big stretch in their non-conference slate.
The final mid-week matchup before conference play is on Mar. 4. UC Santa Barbara will come to play the Trojans in a big matchup as they hosted a regional in last season’s NCAA Tournament. This game will be at Page Stadium.
USC’s Big 10 play will begin in a big weekend series against Oregon from Mar.7-9 at Great Park. Oregon made it to the College Station Super Regional a season ago in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
On Mar. 11, USC will have their second game against Cal State Fullerton. Just like the first matchup, they will travel to Goodwin Park in Fullerton, Calif., to play them during the midweek.
Afterward, from Mar. 14-16, they will be on the road for the first time in a Big 10 weekend series against Michigan in Ann Arbor. Michigan and Oregon both provide a challenge as the first two conference opponents on the schedule. How USC plays here will speak volumes on how they finish their first season in the Big 10.
Another challenging mid-week for USC is on Mar. 18, when they travel to Phoenix to play Arizona State. Following this, they return to Irvine, Calif., to play Nebraska from Mar. 21-23.
The next mid-week, LMU will be back at its home ballpark, Page Stadium. On Mar. 25, the Trojans will play UC Irvine for the second time in the season. The Trojans will then hit the road the following weekend to play Indiana in Bloomington from Mar. 28-30.
The month of April begins with USC playing San Diego State at home on Apr. 1 for a mid-week matchup. Then, from Apr. 4-6, they will also play Ohio State at home. Following this home stretch to begin the month, they will hit the road again the following week.
On Apr. 8, they will play Loyola Marymount at Page Stadium, a familiar place, considering they play a few “home” games there. They then head across the country to play at Penn State from Apr. 11-13.
In the middle of April, USC is back at home for the week. It plays Hawaii in a mid-week matchup on Apr. 15 and then Gonzaga in a three-game weekend series from Apr.17-19, all at Great Park. The Hawaii matchup will be at Page Stadium.
USC will play on the road at the end of April. First, they will play at Long Beach State in a mid-week battle on Apr. 22. Then, they will play at Minnesota for a three-game series from Apr. 25-27. The final game of the month will also see them face off against Cal State Northridge on Apr. 29 on the road.
May begins with a weekend series against USC’s biggest rival, UCLA, at home in Great Park from May 2-4. This will be the second meeting as the team has played a game during non-conference play.
The Trojans will then play their second game against UC Santa Barabara, which will be on the road on May 6. This will be followed up with a weekend series at home against Michigan State from May 9-11.
The final week of the season sees USC play its second game against Cal State Northridge on May 13. This game is at Page Stadium, the Trojans’ home stadium. The Trojans’ final Big 10 weekend series will be on the road against Washington in Seattle from May 15-17.
