Fresh off a national championship, the Tennessee Volunteers have scheduled fall exhibition games to prepare for the 2025 season.
Head coach Tony Vitello’s roster for 2025 includes big-time returners, a top ten transfer portal class, and the number one high school recruiting class in the country. All these players will be on display next season and during these Fall matchups around Tennessee.
In August, Tennessee announced a pair of games in October to help prepare the team for the season. Their first game will be against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Friday, Oct. 25, at 7:00 p.m. E.T. The game will be played at First Horizon Park in Nashville, the home of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds.
Two nights later, they will play the Troy Trojans in Jackson, Tenn. at Jackson Baseball Stadium, the home of the Jackson Rockabillys of the Prospect League.
Troy and Western Kentucky are two interesting opponents for Tennessee to face oin preseason action. Both teams had 35-plus wins in 2024, and both also had wins over major Division I opponents, as Troy won a weekend series versus Indiana and Western Kentucky knocked off Louisville in a mid-week game.
It also gives a chance for the Tennessee baseball program to expand their own brand across the state.
