On Tuesday, D1 Baseball’s Mark Etheridge revealed the two games on the Florida Gators’ fall exhibition schedule.
On October 31, they will be in Jacksonville, Fla., playing against the Jacksonville Dolphins.
This game is the night before the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” in Jacksonville, the popular college football rivalry game between Georgia and Florida every year.
Then, on November 9, they will be back at home in Gainesville, hosting the Georgia Southern Eagles at Condron Family Ballpark.
Breaking Down Jacksonville and Georgia Southern – In 2025, Jacksonville finished the season 30-26 overall and 17-13 in Atlantic Sun play.
They played the Florida Gators twice and lost both times. On February 18, they lost to Florida at home 10-4. On March 18, Florida defeated Jacksonville in Gainesville 16-4. That second matchup ended in a seven-inning run-rule.
The Dolphins won two games in the Atlantic Sun Tournament against North Alabama. However, losses in the conference tournament against Austin Peay and Florida Gulf Coast ended their season.
The Georgia Southern Eagles went 28-31 overall in 2025. They were also 13-17 in Sun Belt this past season.
They played Florida in a midweek matchup last year on April 22. The Gators won that game convincingly 12-1. It ended in a seven-inning run-rule.
Florida Gators 2025 Season Results – In 2025, the Florida Gators went 39-22 and were 15-15 in SEC play.
For the 17th straight season, they made the NCAA Tournament and were placed in the Conway regional.
The Gators had a dominant win in the NCAA Tournament against the Fairfield Stags. However, two losses in the Conway regional against the East Carolina Pirates ended their season.
