More teams have been making additions in the NCAA transfer portal this past week as the college baseball offseason rolls on.
Texas’ Donovan Jordan Commits to Missouri – After finishing at the bottom of the Southeastern Conference, the Missouri Tigers made another pickup in the transfer portal as they added Donovan Jordan.
Jordan spent his 2025 season as a redshirt with the Texas Longhorns. He was a part of head coach Jim Schlossnagle’s first season in Austin, in which the Longhorns won the 2025 SEC regular season title.
Jordan was a top 100 outfielder nationally and a top 50 player from the state of Texas in the 2024 high school class, according to Perfect Game.

Columbia’s Sam Miller Commits to Florida – The Florida Gators added a big-time mid-major player in Columbia shortstop Sam Miller.
In 2025, Miller had a .338 batting average, a .407 on-base percentage, and a .606 slugging percentage.
Miller showed off some power for the Lions this past season as well, hitting 16 home runs. The shortstop also had 57 RBIs.
This great season led to Miller winning the Ivy League Player of the Year award in 2025. He was a part of a Columbia team that won the Ivy League regular season and conference tournament titles. The Lions also went to the NCAA Tournament for the second time this decade.
Former Columbia shortstop Sam Miller is transferring to Florida, according to a change to his bio. He’s coming off a huge 2025 season in which he batted .343 with 16 homers and 57 RBIs. Gators are losing Colby Shelton to the pros so this is a huge add. pic.twitter.com/SW01hqO5rX

Commit: Dylan Loy has committed to @GTBaseball per his social media.
A really good lefty that could easily slide in the rotation or be a really good bullpen arm for Tech. A really good day for Tech as Mason Patel has also announced he is staying for one more year. pic.twitter.com/tuJQC7U1XM
