More teams have been making additions in the NCAA transfer portal this past week as the college baseball offseason rolls on.

Texas’ Donovan Jordan Commits to Missouri – After finishing at the bottom of the Southeastern Conference, the Missouri Tigers made another pickup in the transfer portal as they added Donovan Jordan.

Jordan spent his 2025 season as a redshirt with the Texas Longhorns. He was a part of head coach Jim Schlossnagle’s first season in Austin, in which the Longhorns won the 2025 SEC regular season title.

Jordan was a top 100 outfielder nationally and a top 50 player from the state of Texas in the 2024 high school class, according to Perfect Game.

Columbia’s Sam Miller Commits to Florida – The Florida Gators added a big-time mid-major player in Columbia shortstop Sam Miller

In 2025, Miller had a .338 batting average, a .407 on-base percentage, and a .606 slugging percentage.

Miller showed off some power for the Lions this past season as well, hitting 16 home runs. The shortstop also had 57 RBIs.

This great season led to Miller winning the Ivy League Player of the Year award in 2025. He was a part of a Columbia team that won the Ivy League regular season and conference tournament titles. The Lions also went to the NCAA Tournament for the second time this decade.

Tennessee’s Dylan Loy Commits to Georgia Tech – Tennessee left-handed pitcher Dylan Loy committed to Georgia Tech this week after spending two seasons of his collegiate career in Knoxville.

After being a member of the 2024 national championship Tennessee team, Loy had a solid 2025 season.

In 2025, the southpaw had a 3.97 ERA in 34 innings with 36 strikeouts compared to just 11 walks. He had an allowed opposing batting average of .180 when he faced 138 batters this season.

Loy also had two saves for Tennessee this season, one each against Ole Miss and LSU.

South Carolina’s Roman Kimball Commits to UCF – South Carolina’s Roman Kimball has committed to play for UCF in 2026. It will be the third school he has played for, as he previously played for Notre Dame prior to South Carolina.

The 2024 season was Kimball’s best for the Gamecocks as he had 42 strikeouts in 31 1/3 innings of work. During that same stretch of play, he had an allowed opposing batting average of .211.

Kimball had eight starts in the 2024 season and 15 total appearances.
