Nippon Professional Baseball’s Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks will participate in the 2026 Japan-Taiwan International Baseball Exchange Games, scheduled for February 25-28, 2026, at Taipei Dome, the clubs announced.
The games will feature the Taiwanese national team, and the Chinese Professional Baseball League’s CTBC Brothers and Wei Chuan Dragons. SoftBank is set to play the Brothers on February 25 and Team Taiwan on February 26, while Nippon-Ham will compete against Team Taiwan on February 27 and the Dragons on February 28.
Fighters infielder Yuki Nomura, who attended the press conference in Taipei, said he is excited to return to the island and hopes to put on an entertaining performance for local fans. Nippon-Ham previously played preseason games in Taipei in 2025, further strengthening its connection with Taiwanese baseball.
Both the Fighters and the Hawks now feature Taiwanese stars on their rosters, including Ruei-Yang Gu Lin, Yi-Lei Sun, and Jo-Hsi Hsu.
