NPB Playoff Game One Starting Pitching Matchups Set 

As the NPB playoffs start, the prospective pitchers for their respective teams have perhaps the most say in their team’s future success. 

Hiroto Saiki of the Hanshin Tigers will take on Katsuki Azuma of the DeNA Baystars to kick off game one of the Central League Playoffs. 

In the Pacific League Playoffs, superstar Roki Sasaki will be taking on Takayuki Katoh (10-9, 2.70)  as their respective teams look to take an early advantage. In another addition to his cast of auspicious starts, Sasaki threw a complete game last time out, allowing just one run and five hits in a 5-1 win over the Rakuten Eagles.  

Both games take place at 1 a.m. Eastern Time and can be streamed on You can stream all NPB games on DAZN.

#2 Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters 

#3 Chiba Lotte Marines 

Central League:
