There are very few hitters hotter than Oklahoma State’s Aidan Meola right now in college baseball.
The Cowboys’ infielder has five home runs in the last five games. Over that same stretch, he also has 10 hits, 14 RBIs, and has scored 10 runs.

As of February 25, Meola is Oklahoma State’s second-best hitter statistically. The only hitter statistically better than him on the team is Kollin Ritchie.
Meola was the Big 12 Player of the Week
During the vast majority of Meola’s big streak, he put up big enough numbers to win the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week award on February 23.
This was from his performance in Oklahoma State’s series against the Grand Canyon Antelopes. The infielder had four home runs and 12 RBIs over a four-game stretch.
Coming off an injury for the Cowboys
Meola’s great start to the 2026 college baseball season is not only a great sign of things to come, but it is also a great revival story.
In 2025, he played in just 13 games to start the season. He suffered a season-ending injury against Illinois State last March.
Over the healthy stretch of play last year, Meola had 12 hits and 10 RBIs.
Up next for Oklahoma State
The Oklahoma State Cowboys extended their win streak to four games after defeating Central Arkansas 14-3 on February 24. They currently have an overall record of 5-3.
Their next game is on Friday, February 27, against the Sam Houston Bearkats. The game is at Oklahoma State’s home ballpark, O’Brate Stadium, and it starts at 5 p.m. EST.
