Ole Miss Rebels 2025 Non-Conference Schedule Breakdown

The past two seasons in Oxford, Miss. have not been the best for Ole Miss baseball. The team has failed to reach 30 wins in the past two seasons and is almost three seasons removed from winning the NCAA championship. Some great performances in non-conference play to begin the 2025 season may be needed for the Rebels to help get winning baseball back within the program.

The season for Ole Miss begins on February 14 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. They are a participant in the Shriner Children’s College Showdown and will face off against three great college baseball programs in Arizona, Texas, and Clemson. This is a great test for the Rebels out of the gate as they already get an early shot to match up against some of the best teams in college baseball to test where they are as a team early on.

Ole Miss heads to Oxford for their first home game on February 18. It is a mid-week battle against Arkansas State. The Rebels lost to them a season ago in non-conference play by a score of 4-2. They follow that mid-week matchup with a three-game weekend series at Swayze Field against Eastern Kentucky beginning on February 21.

Next week, on February 25, Southern Miss heads to Oxford to face the Rebels. The two teams met twice last season, with both teams winning a game. The Golden Eagles have been a good program historically, and this is a game Ole Miss cannot take for granted. They will follow that game up with a three-game series against Wright State from February 28 to March 2. The Raiders were a good, mid-major team a season ago, with a 32-24 overall record.

On March 4-5, the Rebels have back-to-back matchups at Swayze Field against Southeastern Louisiana and Murray State. The Racers defeated Ole Miss during an SEC mid-week contest last season in extra innings. Following those two games, Ole Miss has its final three-game series of the year against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks from March 7-9.

The Rebels then play South Alabama in Mobile on March 11 before SEC play begins when they play Arkansas at home.

Ole Miss dropped games to some of these non-conference opponents a season ago. After having back-to-back losing seasons, taking care of business this time around in non-conference play will be important in getting the Rebels back to winning baseball and maybe even the NCAA tournament.
