Ole Miss third baseman Judd Utermark has been hitting the ball for lots of power in 2026.
In 17 games and 61 total at-bats, he has 10 home runs and 23 RBIs. This puts him safely in the top ten of college baseball home run leaders this season.
Utermark reached his 10th home run this season on Friday, March 6, against Evansville. He hit a home run in both games of a doubleheader that day at Swayze Field in Oxford.
Utermark is also on a five-game hitting streak with multiple hits in two of those games during that stretch.
Utermark and his career with Ole Miss
The senior has 39 home runs and 110 RBIs in his career with the Rebels. He is coming off his best season in 2025, when he had a .294 batting average and 74 hits.
During that season, Utermark was named to the 2025 SEC Championship and 2025 Oxford Regional All-Tournament teams.
This season, he has a .328 batting average and a .468 on-base percentage, which puts him on pace to outperform his 2025 season.
Up next for Ole Miss
The Ole Miss Rebels have a 15-2 record this season. Their next game is a highly-anticipated matchup against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in Hattiesburg, Miss.
That game is on Tuesday, March 10, with the first pitch at 7 p.m. EST.
After that, they will have their first SEC weekend series against the Texas Longhorns at Disch-Falk Field in Austin. That series is from March 13-15.
Both Southern Miss and Texas are top ten teams in D1 Baseball’s top 25 rankings.
