The Mariners beat the Tigers with a comeback in the bottom of the ninth to keep things all square at the top of the American League West. Here’s everything you missed from yesterday in Major League Baseball.

Mariners 4, Tigers 3 – Mitch Haniger cleared the bases with a double to complete the comeback in the bottom of the ninth for the Mariners. Seattle avoided the three-game sweep and pulled back into a tie with the Astros for first in the AL West.

Giants 9, Nationals 5 (10 Innings) – Brett Wisely drove in a run on a bunt single in the 10th to begin the Giants four-run inning that led to the victory. San Francisco squandered a three-run lead in the ninth on a Luis Garcia three-run homer before regaining the lead in extras. The Giants won the three-game series and moved above .500 for the first time since May 29.

Brewers 16, Braves 7 – Rookie Jackson Chourio hit two two-run homers and became the youngest player in Brewers history with a multi-homer game as Milwaukee exploded for 20 hits and six homers. The Brewers swept Atlanta and extended their losing streak to five games. The Braves fell out of wildcard position with the loss and trail the Mets by a half game for the final spot in the National League race.

Padres 7, Pirates 6 – Luis Arraez doubled in a run to finish off a three-run ninth inning that gave the Padres the lead for a three-game sweep of the Pirates. San Diego has won five straight is just two and a half games behind the Dodgers for the NL West lead.

Mets 9, Rockies 1 – Pete Alonso hit two home runs and each Met starter finished with a hit in the final game of the series in Colorado. David Peterson allowed one run in five innings of work and the Mets won their third game in the last four. New York took hold of the third wildcard spot in the NL.

Reds 10, Marlins 4 – Cincinnati scored seven runs in the 10th inning and took three-of-four in Miami. Elly De La Cruz, who had a three hit day, singled and scored as a part of the seven run inning. Hunter Greene allowed three runs and struck out five in six innings.

Angels 9, Yankees 4 – Jo Adell cleared the bases with a double that was a part of the Angels six-run fifth inning to win the final game of the series in New York. Tyler Anderson struck out seven Yankees and allowed one run in six innings. New York remains tied for second in the AL East with the Orioles.

Blue Jays 7, Orioles 6 – Toronto survived a ninth inning rally from the Orioles to complete the series win against the first place team in the AL East. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. drove in four runs and hit a two-run homer to keep his 20-game hit streak alive.

Rays 6, Cardinals 4 – The Rays avoided the sweep from the Cardinals thanks to a two-run homer for Brandon Lowe in the seventh that gave Tampa the lead. St. Louis is two and a half games out of the last NL wildcard spot after taking two-of-three in the series.

Phillies 6, Diamondbacks 4 – The Phillies ended Arizona’s four-game winning streak thanks to Bryce Harper’s three hits. Philly has won four of five after a six-game losing streak to end July. The Diamondbacks fell behind the Padres for the second wildcard spot.
