San Francisco won their fourth straight after Brett Wisely doubled in two runs and later scored in the fifth inning to push past the Tigers for the second straight day. Rangers 9, Yankees 4
The Rangers took the second game of the day in New York after a five-run sixth inning extended their lead. Corey Seager hit a three-run homer to cap off the sixth. Texas has won one of their last four games, and the defending champs are nine and a half games out of the wildcard position.

Matt Olsen hit two home runs and drove in a career-high six RBIs to help Atlanta out of their six-game skid. Olsen’s second homer of the day was a two-run shot in the seventh that gave the Braves the lead. Atlanta sits a half-game above the Mets for the third wildcard spot.
Dodgers 4, Pirates 1
The Dodgers scored four runs on All-Star rookie Paul Skenes and got past Pittsburgh to clinch the series win. Gavin Lux drove in three runs for Los Angeles. The lead for the Dodgers in the NL West is now two and a half games.
