A bright spot in a rough season for the Missouri Tigers was outfielder Pierre Seals.
After transferring to Missouri from Memphis, Seals had a .291 batting average, which was the third-best one on the team behind Jackson Lovich and Kaden Peer.
Seals also had eight doubles, five home runs, and 22 RBIs. He had a .300 batting average in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play.
Seals was a Big-Time Player in Missouri’s Series Win Over Texas A&M
The outfielder’s best game of the 2025 college baseball season came against the Texas A&M Aggies on May 10. He had three hits, one of which was a double. He also had an RBI in that matchup.
Seals also had another multi-hit game against the Aggies the following day on May 11. The Tigers won all three games that weekend against Texas A&M in College Station.
That was the Tigers’ sole SEC series win of the 2025 season.
Seals and his Impact for Missouri in 2026
The 2026 season will be Seals’ graduate year in college baseball. The former top-ranked high schooler from Tennessee has lots of experience.
This is necessary for a Missouri team that won only 16 games and finished last in the SEC.
Before 2025, Seals batted .324 and had a .452 on-base percentage for the Memphis Tigers in 2024. If he can get back to that form with Missouri in 2026, the Tigers will have a real weapon in their lineup.
Up Next for the Missouri Tigers
The Missouri Tigers will begin the 2026 season on February 13 against the Mt. Saint Mary’s Mountaineers.
The game will be a neutral-site matchup in Ft. Myers, Fla.
The February 13 game against Mt. Saint Mary’s will be the first of seven games for Missouri in the state of Florida to begin the 2026 college baseball season. Along with the Mountaineers, they will also play the Florida Atlantic Owls and New Haven Chargers in the Sunshine State.
