Pitcher Joe Cuomo was the Rare Italian American Playing in Italy

Joe Cuomo is quickly developing a unique international baseball career.

He spent the last two seasons pitching in Italy as one of the only Italian Americans in Serie A. He also helped Bologna win a championship in 2023 before helping Macerata get to the league championship in 2024.

He’s also pitching for Team Aruba in an off-season tournament before heading to play in Australia in November.

We spent some time speaking with him about his journey and goals as part of our latest WBN international player video series.
