The new official jersey of the national baseball team of Romania was launched by the Romanian Baseball and Softball Federation at its National Convention, which took place from 21-23 October in Poiana Brasov, Romania.
With almost 100 participants over three days attending the National Convention sessions, there was a great crowd on hand to witness the jersey unveiling.
“We are trying to build a new identity, starting with the official jersey of the Romanian national team,” Romanian Baseball and Softball Federation President Cristian Manea said. “The design is a special one, where the color yellow, which is specific to Romania’s national teams, blends with baseball tradition. We launched a fundraising campaign with the purpose of advancing the Romanian baseball and softball, mainly for acquiring equipment.
“At this point, the federation has old, used sports equipment and by that I mean baseballs, gloves and bats. On the official website https://baseball-softball.ro/magazin-oficial, baseball fans can purchase the official jersey. It’s a limited edition, with only 100 collection jerseys, and whoever gets one will receive with the package the title of “Official Supporter of the National Baseball Team”.
The price of a jersey is 1000 lei (€200).
